Sharkstooth Gauze

Sharkstooth Gauze is an industry staple, transforming from a seemingly solid fabric to virtually transparent depending on the lighting.

Sharkstooth Gauze Fabrics

Sharkstooth Gauze is very similar in appearance to Scenic Gauze, differing by its smaller, rectangular weave. Occasionally referred to as Sharkstooth Scrim, Sharkstooth Gauze is dense enough for users to be able to dye the fabric to paint a scene on it, or be a surface for projection.

Through lighting you can choose where to pinpoint the focus on stage, smoothing transitions between scenes. Like Scenic Gauze, Sharkstooth Gauze takes on a solid appearance when light is projected onto the front of the fabric, but when the light moves to behind, it becomes practically translucent.
